My work is very much focused on real moments. I pay as much attention to the feel of the wedding day as I do the look of it. Often you'll hear me guiding my couples into the best light, or helping answer questions or solve problems. From there I let the day naturally unfold and document it as the moments come. I'll give guidance when it is needed but for the most part I am a fly on the wall. Interacting with your guests, being present with each other, always holding the others hand... this is where the most beautiful and candid photos come from.

Couples come to me because they are looking for a relaxed photographer. They also come to me for real, emotive, intentional, and story telling photos. I have an eye for details, for unseen moments, for knowing when I'm needed for a moment and when I'm not. I'm relaxed enough that I'm easy to work with, but not so much that I lose sight of the details. I help the day flow organically and won't interrupt important moments to get the "shot". However I will definitely give suggestions for beautiful photos if the opportunity presents itself!

If photography isn't something you value much for your wedding day (which is totally ok, everyone values different things) or you're shopping for a deal, I'm probably not the photographer for you. I'm priced to reflect my unique style, my inclusion of film photos, my attention to detail, and the value + relationship I provide to my couples and their loved ones. On average most couples will spend around $5000 - $6000 with me. I absolutely love working with people that believe in the meaning and beauty of authentic photographs.

My ultimate goal is to capture the true essence of each of my couples regardless of the style of their wedding day. No matter how your love takes form, or how you want to celebrate, it all deserves to be captured with intention and care. The couples that gravitate towards me are those who aren't too concerned with fitting the "wedding mold". While they may keep some traditional elements, ultimately their goal is to create a day where they can celebrate their way, with no stress to perform or feel like it has to be perfect.

It took me a while to write this review because I couldn't properly summarize my thoughts about having worked with Keely as our wedding photographer. TLDR: book her. Yesterday.
When creating a pinterest of my wedding photo ideas, I was constantly drawn to documentary-style, effortless, beautiful digital + film photos. I realized I had unconsciously pinned many photos that all were posted by the same photographer - Keely. After telling all my friends about this amazing photographer from vancouver (who was likely too far away to travel to our kootenay wedding), I was convinced just to reach out. Keely was so professional from the moment we interacted. All of her booking systems were simple and organized. We chatted and I told Keely I had a budget I wanted to be mindful of, and appreciated if it was not possible for her to travel + shoot our wedding within that dollar amount. Keely worked with us and truly made my dreams come true when she was able to work some details out to be respectful of our budget. She reached out to ask if we needed planning help, was always quick to reply to messages/emails, and also was an absolute joy to meet when we did our engagement photos. She was thoughtful of things that were important to us, the vibe we wanted for the day, and how she could be part of making that happen. She was calm, organized, and I truly barely noticed that she was there the day of our wedding - yet her photos captured moments in such a way that I knew she was intently and fully present day-of. I could not recommend Keely and her photography enough. I wish we could do it all again just to be captured by Keely and her talent. Truly an angel on this earth that I would recommend to anyone and everyone getting married. There truly is no reality where I could've had anyone else capture our special day besides Keely.
