Tofino has a special place in my heart (as I’m sure it does with almost anyone who visits), so when Lexi and Alex said they would be down for a sunset surf session I jumped at the chance! And BOY was it such a fun evening with those two. Naturally we gossiped the entire time about cameras, prisms, and all things photography. Lexi and Alex run Sunset Media and are product and lifestyle photographers themselves! We spent the night on one of Tofino’s stunning beaches and got lucky enough to get a bit of sun before the clouds rolled in for the next few days. I love when my couples make their session their own! Bringing surf boards, your truck, your dog, or your favourite drink are just a few of the ways you can personalize your session. In the end it’s not about how it should look on instagram, it’s about how best to capture YOUR love, m’kay?

If you’ve been to Tofino you know it’s the “hawaii of BC”. From stunning sandy beaches, incredibly cool rock formations, and old growth forests, theres really nothing that doesn’t exceed expectation. I’m lucky enough to get to go at least once a year to visit some dear friends of mine, but when couples invite me over for their elopements and weddings I’m even more excited!! There’s so many amazing spots to choose from, I’m always happy to help my couples choose based on what they are looking for.
